Tony Winston

Level 2 Club Professional Coach

I have played tennis for over 30 years, competing locally for much of that time. In 2012 and 2018, I was nominated and won the Tennis ACT Adult Club Player of the Year for my on-going contribution to Belconnen West Tennis Club and for my participation in numerous Tennis ACT Adult Pennants.

After too many years of working in the Information Technology industry, I decided to pursue a career in tennis coaching. I’ve now been coaching for over 6 years and in that time, I have completed the Junior Development Coaching course and the Club Professional Coaching course. I am now coaching for On the Line Tennis as the Squad Development Manager. I get great enjoyment from coaching students of all ages and levels. My tennis philosophy is to continuously improve my skills and knowledge, to provide a fun, challenging and safe environment where all players can learn and achieve success.
